Unfortunately many here take those words for granted and have no clue what you are talking about.:(

It'd be better for the world's strongest power to take the strongest possible lead in order to help cure conditions which breed oppression and slavery, disease and famine, deprivation of water and the destruction of environmental resources and the need for economic self-determination.

The above should have been the important second prong of Bush's strategy in response to 9/11. But you know what? He has chosen to stand "idly by."

<< Some of us will stand against the injustice of despotic tyranny and may even die in this cause. >>

America owns that slogan. How can we not be proud, when we look at the great sacrifices made by Americans, for freedom and democracy.

I enjoyed your entire note. You've attempted to remind us of what really matters in this world.

If you had said the same things during one of this last weekend's "peace" rallies, they would have torn you to shreds.

Let's see, hmmm honor or slavery, despotism or liberty, hmmm. Seems like an easy choice to me.

Some choose to let their minds be enslaved and think they are free.
