Actually, I believe its the industry people, specifically engineers who don't like expensing, its just that there aren't many of us left on SI. Amy J is not in favor of expensing I think... some folks on the Applied Material thread, Dave Rose etc. The pro-options expensing crowd is much more vocal. They act like they've been ripped off by the tech establishment or something, which would be a reasonable attitude if they were being forced to buy technology stock.... but they aren't.
