I really don't have time to get get into it all, (pun intended). The first thing I'd do were I in charge of the world would be to take the present seven day/24 hours a day week time system of organization and turn it into a seven day/30 hours a week system of organization. Perhaps the most radical thing that could be done that would fundamentally change the way societies approach life is to change how we've got time is organized. If we're gonna make the world a better place, then at the base there has to become a whole new way of doing things. The above would change productivity and give people more time to enjoy their lives. Just think what a three day 30-hour a day weekend would look like with an occassional day off--lol! Secondly, I'd implement an inheritance bank whereby all monies from a deceased person are transferred into an Inheritance Bank. A value would be assigned to assets beyond money. All of this value, taken together, would create a huge interest base for the Inheritance Bank, which would be used so that societies could eliminate taxes, and this interest money then would become used in order to fund the needs of governments. Next the heirs of the deceased would be provided what the deceased assigns in the will. The catch is, before they die, they have to return the equal amount they took, back into the Inheritance Bank. If they can't, then the amount they can give to the next heir becomes reduced by the original amount received. This, over time, gets rid of the Silver Spoon Syndrome and forces those who get inheritance money to make productive use of that money, as they'll be an incentive to make more so that the original amount can be repaid. Thirdly, government policy should be made with people the primary consideration instead of profits of those connected with those who rule. I guess the best of all examples to this is here we are at the edge of a war involving oil and the next war will likely involve water. This, when there's been much we could have done different policywise. For example, America's technicians invested wind and solar alternatives, but it is Germany and Japan who are marketing it; Japan has had a secondary use for sink and shower water; whereas we in America waste so much with each precious flush. All in all, there's a lot more we could do. But, Jewell, unfortunately, as the way it is, I simply don't have time right now (pun intended). By the way, my mother's name was Jewell. Among the very nicest of all names, west or east--lol!
