Clappy, I appreciate the words of support. However............ "I guess I was just remembering how I used to flame the shorts on the yahoo board back in the day. Little did those dickheads know how right they would be... <g>" My point was that I flamed shorts who told clear irrefutable lies in order to gain financially from their then current short position. I used cold hard facts to prove they lied. It makes no difference whatsoever that a couple of years later, equities prices were substantially lower. I never called a short a liar who predicted some future (months or years hence) stock price. I dealt with current events & the fact they were lying to help drive stock prices lower because they were short at that time. There is a substantial difference between what I did, what Karen alluded to & you continue to joke about. "I think this war stuff is causing a lot of people stress. Some of us handle it differently............ I've noticed the stress of this has gotten you to get rather angry at times especially with Scott. I don't know if his cut-n-pastes are doing much more than reassuring himself a few others there is a growing minority who think the same way." Apparently you still don't get it. I don't flame folks who don't lie & slander the President with baseless allegations & unsupportable conspiracy theories. I have no problem with folks who disagree, even vehemently with the President & his Administration....... as long as they don't resort to lies, deceit, etc., etc. I have serious problems with folks who do resort to such immoral & unethical practices. Scott relentlessly posts the most vile, false, misleading & unsupportable slanderous attacks on the President & his Administration. That is why I use facts to expose him. That is why I get upset at him. IMVHO, on 9/11, we saw the start of WWIII. President Bush has made a compelling case against Iraq with factual, irrefutable evidence. And while we are fighting this war & are on the eve of war with a rouge state that harbors & supports terrorists & terrorism, refuses to give up his WMD & WMD programs, ET AL; Scott & his peers continue to attack the President & his Administration with blatant lies, intentional deceit, baseless slanderous allegations & fantasy land conspiracy theories. I have serious problems with that. If he can't stick to the truth, logic & reality, then he should be exposed for what he & his peers are doing. "Peace Tim. It's alright to vent once in a while. We all do it to some degree." It's not alright to lie, deceive & slander the President & his Administration under any circumstances. IMVCO, it is among the most unethical & immoral things to do under the current circumstances. There is no excuse whatsoever for this horrific behavior!
