You are really misinformed about Tawana Brawley. She never claimed she was kidnapped by the NYPD. She admitted she covered herself in shit. Sharpton had nothing to do with it.

Brawley claimed she was raped by local police in Ducthess County where I live.... She took refuge in an empty apartment her family once occupied and covered herself in feces and wrote the messages... All of this was not proven until a special task force named by Mario Cuomo spent months studying the forensics.... Sharpton appointed himself her advocate along with two lawyers and put his foot in his mouth by accusing local lawyer Pagones of participating in the alleged rape... Sharpton continues to stick to his story and he says he believed Brawley (a lot of people did) largely to avoid bigger lawsuits and slander charges... If he admits he lied, he's in deep do-do... Brawley has slinked off into the sunset and won't give interviews.... But you're dead wrong in saying Sharpton faked the kidnapping..... he did't show up until days after she was found...
