Daschle's wife sounds like a Republican. Those aren't skeletons in one's closet, those are lobbyist ties which the GOP congress just made not only legal but secret and unreportable. The new GOP congress now allows themselves to be wined, dined and gifted ad infinitum without telling anyone. That was the first move they made when they took over. The entire GOP power structure is supported by corporate lobbyists. That's why they're trying to defeat Campaign Finance Reform in court much to McCain's chagrin.
