It means a major shift in power is about to occur in the region. Things could change for the better, they sure weren't getting better over the past 12 years.


You might want to ratchet down your expectations. Taking out one of the neighborhood bullies doesn't guaranteed a new neighborhood, and Bush doesn't have staying power to insure the kind of the things that will bring meaningful change.

The talk about making Iraq democratic and a better for its people is just talk.
