"But be careful.. you may not find yourself "favored" to be a participant on his censored .. err.. moderated thread.."

Well hell Hawk, what is life without risks?

Believe me, I am not waiting for any meaningful reply from PT. He went for the ad hominem attack on Hitchens because he can't argue the logic. When someone from the left presents a compelling case for forcible disarmament it screws them all up inside.

>>> Don't get me wrong.. moderated threads are fine when they are started out that way.. But to do it right in the middle of the heated discussion is essentially an admission that they can't defend their positions and wish to squelch opposing voices.<<<

The Don't Start the War thread remains an open thread. The new thread, Stop the War, is a moderated forum, and this is due to many requests I've gotten from folks who would have liked to have participated in the Don't Start the War thread but didn't want to participate in a den of insult.

You should realize that no one moderates anyone off a thread; it is their own behavior that requires same, just like inappropropriate behavior is not allowed in bar rooms, nor is one able to shout obsceneties and loudly call people names in the rotunda of the Capital Building.

And, as is your preference, the Stop the War thread initiated as a moderated forum and will remain as one.
