at the bottom of the 32 bear p/e ratios were over 100, some were at infinity, nobody was making money.

p/e ratios are not a good measure of major tops or bottoms, people that were married to p/e ratio fallacy missed the greatest bull market of this century, by being out or being short from the mid 90's.
