You can't see that someone who rants and raves about how evil a company is for seeking profits then invests in them solely for the purpose of making a profit is a hypocrite ? As I said you are clueless. Why didn't she buy shares in alternative energy companies ?

Diversified portfolios are a good idea, including oil. Doesn't matter which party you're in. I bought Halliburton as a hedge against the plummeting markets. Luckily I bought most of it at 50% lower than it is, but some of of it 30% higher. I could care less if I distrust Cheney. The more crooked he is the more money Halliburton will make.
