The Europeans love us one minute and hate us the next. They even boycotted Disney Paris for quite some time and instead came to our parks here. LOL! They never trust us and of course they don't want to see any hostilities near their own soil. They've seen the devastation of war first hand.

I'm not saying bombing Iraq is right or wrong, that we should or should not do it, but it reminds me of Jack Lemmon in "Network".............. "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it any more!".......... not that this justifies what we're doing.

As for the French..... I'm happy to say that I was born in France and thankful that I'm free today and able to say the French would be speaking German today and eating Wienersnitzels instead of Snails if it weren't for the Americans......... not that past acts justifies Iraq now.

Would they come help us if we were under attack? I'll bet we'd come to their rescue........ again.

We can't be the world's policemen though.

So what does my rambling mean? LOL! I think it's as wishy washy as the European's feelings for the Americans. LOL!

We're going to Europe this year and I'll bet they treat us just as poorly in Paris as the last time we went and the rest of Europe as kindly as last time. Don't know what those Parisians have against us, but I think it started long before Iraq.
