I have 872 as the 50% retrace on the SPX and the futs hit that and have sold off since. That would be the number I would look at as a cap or confirmation that fundies do not matter and we are going to the moon this morning.

I'm not sure if he was trying to be funny but he said it with a straight face!
To his credit though when their guest tried to play it off as weather related, Steve was quick to point out that the North East starts were actually better, and it was the midwest south and west that were causing the slow down.
Hardly attributable to weather.

All in all, I think the war issue is on the front burner and until it is either ended or until it begins to drag on, it will be the only driving issue for the markets.
