Awww don't do this to me :-) The last book I read on gory practices of the Church was a documentary on the Templar Knights' "trial", two-year torture, and subsequent execution by fire. I had nightmares for months. These days, I broaden my horizons with Philip K. Dick and J. G. Ballard, both of whom have fortunately written loads of books, I will not be left asking for more like after the six Dune books of Frank Herbert and three books of Neal Stephenson. Anyway, I would appreciate it if you could answer my question, because I honestly doubt I will ever read the book.
