Are you telling me that the Sadaam regime has not done and is not doing the things I outlined? If you agree that these things have occurred then my point is - that ending such crimes is surely a lesser crime - if a crime at all. And if you agree that such crimes have occurred then how is recognizing them "over the top"? Unless such crimes rise to some level of importance, one could never make a case for a preemptive strike against a nazi germany for example (absent any present agression against other nations).
