I think I am going to stand aside in the current market. I hit the wrong key yesterday and bought ten times as many April puts on IBM as I meant to. Slept reasonably well anyway, but I had to sell my large holdings at the close of the oil stock TLM to make sure I didn't get a huge Fed call. I have now got out of the IBM position and back into my TLM position with total damage done of losing $175. A few more minutes and I would have had a profit, but I have decided not to put myself at the mercy of lunatics and consider this a very cheap exit given what could have happened. Of course, before today is over, it may turn out I would have made several thousand dollars by doing nothing this morning.
