Hi, back atcha.

Seems to me that this might be a good opportunity to relocate or remove the troops in Germany. Seems to me that's a win, win, win, win, etc. situation. You're right about Russia, but they're the only loser, Russia and the prostitutes and pawn shops near the bases in Germany. Pretty close to a consensus, I'd say.

I posted the column from Safire because I thought it was classy, unlike most of the discussion on this subject.
