5 million $14 = a lot of expense, are earnings going to have to cover this out of the gate?* Nothing has changed about the company. The bankers understand the cost of the options, expensed or not. The institutional investors are the people that set the price of the offering, and they understand the cost of the options, expensed or not. The only people that might be affected by seeing lower net income from the expensing of options are retail individual investors, and they are quite irrelevant to the IPO process.
