zonder, I probably would have given that one some thought and eventually caught on to it. At least I have the 50 or so times it's been said to me. <g>

But we can be dense, and not just in matters romantic. When I was an options trader for an insurance co., I attended an options conference in San Francisco. One of the brokerage boutiques was hosting a Bay Cruise and all the clients and even most of the competing brokers were invited.

However, the week before the cruise, a trader at another insurance co. had lied to a broker at the host firm and cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars. The owner of the brokerage railed at the guy for 5 minutes, pulled the direct line key to his insurance co., and generally said that if he ever saw him again, it would be too soon.

The insurance co. trader showed up at the dock for the boat cruise. Talk about dense. <g> He's lucky he wasn't drowned.
