The odds are against this sort of negotiation from ever taking place -- it is more likely to be a policy solution that either favors the Settlers or the Palestinians. Sorry, but the reality is that we have done little to nothing to show any backbone in dealing with Israel.

you want the israelis to negotiate payment for the settlements they have built on stolen arab land. who is going to pay for that? billions in US tax dollars and loan guarantees are what paid to build the settlements in the first place! i suppose you want the US taxpayer to subsidize the theft of arab land and then you want US taxpayer money to fund the purchasing of that stolen land after the fact.

sounds like quite a deal for israel! they get the land for free!
