While we're bitching ;o).. Can I complain about importing goods from countries that use chemicals banned here? Example: (that I know about) Is Juice - orange and grapefruit etc.. We banned DDT for good reason, but a lot of the juice available is either made in countries where ddt is still used or from fruits from those countries. I was surprised when I found that out. What's the use of banning something if you are still going to be exposed to it?

UFR..I guess you need to get used to MTBE's in your ground water...I never could understand why they pushed for those oxygenated additives...the physics of it is flawed and no net reduction is possible if you understand stoichiometric ratios and thermal dynamics in internal combustion engines.
(still shaking my head over the bone heads that pushed for that poison additive)
