as long as we believe allies and friends are important Sorry, I didn't know that was what we were talking about :o) The relationship with a lot of our allies has really been screwed up badly. While I was watching the Parliament debate, Blair was emphasizing that now the US is really going to support a solution for the Palestinian-Israeli. This time they will...really. One of the MPs said why should we believe the US now. We've heard that before. Blair said, I can understand your cynicism. And there you have it. That's the "best" view of the US. jttmab
