John...I believe the American people are MUCH better prepared now than we were for the VietNam War... Remember Johnson's guns-and-butter program? I do and I know you do too. Was much younger then, and didn't think it would work then. Obviously it didn't. The Government then played at war...a drab of money here....a few troops there, and an occasional Air America drop....Pretty soon, we were dealing with REAL lives lost, REAL families impacted, and our Country divided.

We weren't prepared then. And our Military certainly weren't given the weapons and equipment support they needed either.

At least this time, we have had ample opportunity to hear the President and the Administration. We have taken ample time to get troops and equipment in the same places as needed.

Some people just don't want to hear what the Administration has said about what type of WMD Iraq still has.
