A friend of mine from Stockton, CA told me that when he was a kid back in the 50's, these big trucks would drive slowly down the street, just spewing forth large amounts of DDT to control misquitos and other pests.

The kids just skipped behind it, playing in the 'fog'.

What irritates me is that even though he playing in toxic clouds as a kid, he still has a full head of hair. Damn genetics.

Right.. I just figure it if it's bad for animals or the environment, it's probably not good for me either. Haven't seen the commercials for Chilean fruit.
