Sorry for being *too* sarcastic, my comments were meant tongue in cheek. I very much view this travesty from the same perspective as you. I was meaning to mock the giddy, breathless excitement that I see in many of my fellow americans when they talk to me about jdams and daisy cutters and thermobaric bombs, etc. And as I finished writing the previous sentence, a co-worker walked into my office and expressed him disappointment that the war has not been 'more exciting' thus far.
