Actually, WH, I strongly suspect that the White House hopes that Daschle keeps on talking. The vast majority of the voting public, as evidenced by the polls released this morning, wholly disagree with him. As he represents the Democratic Party as Majority Leader of the Senate, his partisanship and politicizing of the Iraq situation will only hurt them. Karl Rove may well be giggling away as we write.
