It doesn't matter. By the time elections happen, the economy will be in such a mess that even a Shovel-Pail ticket will defeat Duhmbya and his boss!

Kerry needs a southern running mate or else McCain.
The only thing the GOP has to attack him with is the out-dated Massachusetts liberal label. Out-dated because Mass has been run by Republican governors for a long time now. Feinstein is a great choice but Kerry has California in the bag. He wont even need to campaign there. In fact he has both coasts in the bag down to North Carolina. Now ther's a state that could put him over the top. John Edwards could do it for him there, plus Kerry's military record. But dont be surprised if McCain joins Kerry for a bi-partisan hero ticket. If he does, Bush loses worse than Dole.
