<why do you assume......>

I assume nothing. Believe it or not, right after 9/11, I was in favor of aggressive military action, including the use of tactical nuclear weapons if that's what it took. I expressed that opinion, before Pakistan gave us permission to use their territory to go after the Taliban, when it looked like Al Queda might be unreachable any other way. I've come to my opinions, by reading the position papers and speeches of the NeoCons, and the response from the rest of the world. And reading a lot of history. I've posted line-by-line commentary on several NeoCon position papers, on this thread.

<....that the people in the Admin are unaware of these problems?>

I think they are aware of the problems, and have come up with an unworkable plan to solve them. The route to freedom is the way the E.Germans did it in 1991. We can serve as a good example of democracy; we cannot shove democracy down their throats with our bayonets. Negotiation is not appeasement. Carrots work better than Sticks, and are a lot safer. War is the last resort, not the first.
