Thanks for reminding the useful idiots who frequent this thread as apologists for saddam that our service men and women, do not deserve this treatment.

These are our sons and daughters out there and they Need our prayers to help them do their mission.

The spooks who want them to fail should be sent packing.

Where was Bush on terrorism pre 9-11? Completely AWOL is the answer, even though he was warned of imminent dangers. He wasted his defense capital touting SDI against imaginary missiles from rogue nations. It was a huge waste of time.

9-11 happened on Bush's watch too, but the right-wing is busy trying to use the war to blame Clinton again. Actually, Bushies dismantled Clinton's counter-terrorism units after they came into power, Bush never even mentioned terrorism his first 9 months in office, and he was protecting the Saudis from FBI investigations while his father was doing business with Osama's father at Carlyle Group.

As for Saddam, Clinton inherited that problem from Bush Sr., and Saddam didn't attack us for 8 years. He still hasn't. That said, no one will cry to see him go. But it could have been handled in a much more unifying way.
