Do we really want or need troops from forty other countries? Verbal support is more helpful than troops that don't speak English.

Yes. Token troupes are a much better indicator of true support. Surely there are support positions. Without a troupe commitment one might conclude the countries are in it for other reasons.

Oh, another reason for sneering at the Mother of All Unilateral Coalitions? JohnM says that the countries are funny, but doesn't say why -- funny names or something. Funny food, funny accents, funny skin color, funny religion, who knows what people in New Jersey think is culturally "funny"?

And now ZeusPaul thinks it's funny that some aren't actually sending people carrying weapons, but instead are sending people carrying first aid kits and decontamination kits and radios and so forth?

Who knew what it took to make a creditable Mother of All Unilateral Coalitions?
