Markets do not bottom in buying panics. Markets do not bottom when P/E levels are above previous market tops. Markets do not bottom when everyone and their brother predicts it.

These three lessons can save longs much pain and money but as the saying goes, a fool and his money....

There are still plenty of fools around and that leads to lesson number 4. Fools will have been toasted at the bottom and they will be nowhere in sight (lest of all spouting "bottom" all over the airwaves and investment boards).

best...

AMAT cutting jobs is very good. It increases productivity and this is really good. Ask the government because they don't think 7 or 8% unemployment is bad because it means increased productivity. I see the ultimate in increased productivity is possible this afternoon when American announced that they may just liquidate. Now that is increased productivity, get rid of all your planes and all your employee's.

There is no doubt that Cramer is correct and the dip must be purchased. I haven't seen an opportunity like this since I bought the last 15 prime ocean front lots in Billings, MT. Anybody interested in one or two let me know as I am ready to cash in so I can buy more ATML. It was over 50 once and now only a buck or so. It must be cheap.
