James Baker was flying all over the world selling his plan, creating coalitions getting his elbows into the grease.

That was for a war which did not involve the disarmament of Saddam, merely to remove Iraqi forces from Kuwait..

And that DID NOT threaten to destroy France and Russia's chances to exploit those oil fields.

Go back and look at the concessions Saddam was able to get out of the Russians on January 16th and what the Russians received in return on the 17th.

And then try and tell me that France and Russia haven't been cynically supporting Saddam's regime for their own selfish economic purposes..
