Bill, there is the issue of overseas investments and perception of the US economy. All is relative for example Japan and Germany are in worst shape than the US with no respite in sight so what would a German or Japanese do ? Put his money were ? --- Italy , Spain ? France ? -- or ?????

More so that Japan wants to target the Yen at 130 to the USD ?

All things being equal what would you do ?
