But how is it Ok for Condor to discuss the moral beacon and not reasonable to respond? I'm sorry, John, perhaps I didn't make my point clear enough. My own view, which is not necessarily Ken's view, which is, obviously, the official FADG view, is that a discussion of the appropriate character of that metaphor for an attempt to understand anything is okay. But what gets to be a problem for thread civility is saying that the person who proposes the metaphor has lost a moral beacon by doing so.
