No, I've done very well at being a capitalist. I've lived off the stock market for the past three years. I do feel that pure capitalism is a heartless system though. There needs to be a human element where people's needs like medical care and time off to enjoy the fruits of their labor are taken into consideration. I think Allende had the right to implement a socialist program if that was what the platform he was elected on. If the rightwing didn't like it and the Chilean people didn't like it, they could just vote him out of office the next time he came up for election. So, basically democracy is what appeals to me, not a particular idealogy.
