Vic, he's only repeating the official mantra of the Democratic "leaderhsip". "If not for incompetence, this could have been resolved peacefully long ago."

Of course, none of them ever can say how. "A stronger diplomatic effort," they say. Yeah? Tell us, then. How could Saddam Hussein been convinced to surrender his chemical and bio-weapons and stop supporting terrorists? And remember, you aren't allowed to threaten military force or do anything without first running it by Saddam's biggest trading partners and arms suppliers.

It easy for GST and the '04 presidential wannabes (and the pork-fattened West Virginia former player for a team called the Grand Knights) to sit in their Lazy-boys, yelling at the TV and commiserating with their buddies about what a loser the coach or the quarterback are. If they were the stars they envision themselves to be, they'd be on the field. In reality, they don't have a clue what play to call, much less how to run it.

If they were in charge, they'd have forfeited the game already so they could get to the post-game party early and get gassed -er- get lubed -um- share a cigar with an intern? -ahh- get dressed up to watch Susan Sarandon sing Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me. ;-)
