I don't think most Americans are well informed. The poll reflects the ignorance. I think many answers may be shaded by the hopes that our troops will be alright.

A tragedy is unfolding, and I'm going to dodge it. I have plans to spend the next several days underwater far from the TVs.

I suppose these are the very same Americans who were at home all the time because they were on welfare and were responsible for President Clinton's high approval ratings. :-)
