<Go to ground zero in NYC and then tell the troops it is all about oil. >

And the connection between that and Iraq is? How many of the hijackers were Iraqi?

<Ask the troops over there if they think it is a worthless cause.>
Don't believe they have been given much of a say. Kinda hard to dissent once you have joined up. All they can do is hope nothing bad happens til they can exit their term of duty. Which is what 5 friends deployed already from their guard unit plan to do. And 2 West Point graduates that had intended to stay in for the full 20 years, will be exiting at their earliest opportunity as well. One only 5 years shy.

Here is some dissent though:

You'll notice the signatures at the bottom I'm sure. Some retired, some active but soon to be inactive.

I've gone to ground zero. I've accompanied surviving family members of victims to ground zero. I've personally talked to hundreds of survivors who were there that day. Not one blamed 9/11 on Saddam Hussein, not one.

You really should think before you post. Or at the very least, support your assertions with more than your gut feeling.

best...
