True, I don't particularly pay much attention to what you have to say.

As far as Iraq goes, the US policy is to change the regime to one more democratic and pro-west. An interesting and dangerous precedent. Hopefully it'll improve on the status quo in the area. It may also result in an increase in terrorism around the world and unforseen turbulance in the Middle East.

The reasons being publicly being pushed, such as WMD and El Queda connections are only for public consumption, were not particularly compelling and thus did not get worl support.

I actually support the seldom stated objective of trying to move the Middle East towards democracy and reason.

Just hope it comes out well without too much loss of life, here or over there.
