read this article this morning and
thought of you:

Yeah it's pretty nerve wracking.

There are cops everywhere to help you feel at ease I
guess. Still makes me nervous...

Driving into an oil depot we service there is a squad car
parked at the entrance on terrorist alert. Normally they
stop by once a day but now they are camped out.

I also try to think of various routes home to bypass
traffic jams if something happens.

I really need to sit down and draw up a map with all sorts
of alternate routes. And try to figure which way the wind
blows normally, etc.

Just something to keep filed in the glove box. Not
something to worry about each and every day.

I fear more for my brother who works down town in the heart
of the city.

At times I wish I had the ability to do work online. I'd
probably move away from all this. work is a hassle even
without the threat of terrorism.

I better start working on a book or something. Either that
or hit the Lottery... Or learn to trade stocks better...
And get my ass out of this city...

Move to the mountains away from everybody.
By a ranch or farm in Montana or Wyoming.

Just something that pops into my head every once and while.
