Implementing the road map to peace: story.news.yahoo.com

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States said on Wednesday it would talk with Israelis and Palestinians on how to implement a long-awaited Middle East peace plan rather than discuss what the plan should contain.

The Palestinian Authority (news - web sites) welcomed the clarification, which put to rest its fears that Israel might try to renegotiate the substance of the plan, known as the "road map."

Thanks for the countdown to the killing. I hope we get great pictures that look like fireworks -- with big booming sounds like the fourth of July. I hope there are no tasteless pictures of bodies in messy pools of blood and limbs blown everywhere. I hope that I don't have to see anything that suggests that all the fireworks are anything other than a celebration of "God's gift to humanity".
