So you did.. I don't really follow every post.. Sorry.. As for what is the true motive of US attacking Iraq, there does not seem to be a definitive one.. For domestic consumption, it is defensive since the folks who have been pushed into a corner may or may not be planning to do us in.. For the actors behind the scene pulling the strings, 'let us get little bit of that loot in Oil and reconstruction bonanza etc'.. Or may be to prove some of the thinking they have done actually works.. Iraq as a test case.. Internationally, US has tried to tie it to terrorism without actually proving anything and giving terrorists a recruiting vehicle and for Iraqi people, it is liberation and democracy and pursuit of happiness etc.. All very worth while but to do that we are pursuing an approach that says 'end justifies the means' and perhaps few thousand casualties if we miscalculate or may be a walk in the park if Saddam and company just roll over and die.. A dog's breakfast packaged in high minded rhetoric.. JMHO..
