nice deflection and redirection, jack. my belief in capital punishment is hardly the same as your assessment of bush and his beliefs. yes. i personally believe, if proven, with absolutely no doubt, that a man beats, rapes and kills an 11 year old girl, he should be put to death. is that what you wanted from me? as for knowing what Jesus would believe of capital punishment...i have yet to meet him and often wonder whether or not he would believe in the complete removal of something that evil and reprehensible from our society; thus, removing the threat of that individual. i seem to recall that Jesus felt as though he should remove the money changers,etc from the cynagogue. i also seem to recall that Jesus said we should obey the laws of the land. let's just hope we have better people to lay the laws down than people such as senator kennedy.
