Bush owns the government and has access to resources unimaginable to the Democrats. Don't take a cheap shot like the one above.

It's not a cheap shot. The battle that the Democrats are losing is not one of action, but ideas. If they want to regain power, they must offer an alternative program. The party in opposition is always hampered by having fewer microphones, but you cannot say that the Democrat candidates are not getting coverage. It's just that most of what we hear sounds like partisan shots (Dashle) or careful triangulation (Kerry).
