forgot to update over here: the puts suffered two green days, that's an automatic failure signal, so they were flipped into calls to align with the trend. those were dumped on friday for a nice gain almost making up for the put loss but i didn't come anywhere near catching the top of the move. the reality is that right now, this market is being driven by war news. that means we're making/losing money on the blood of people dying. i have a huge problem with this and i'm not sure how to deal with it. this is how i make my living, so i can't exactly stop what i'm doing, on the other hand it doesn't seem right to celebrate profits or mourn defeats right now. i think for now i'll simply stop posting my trades for the next while. and i'll write a check to my preferred charity Medecins sans Frontiere/Doctors Without Borders. the yackity-yack thread will go on as before. i suppose.
