Riechers, Absolutely. At one time I owned the song in two recorded versions. On Barry McGuire's hit album and P.F. Sloan's original. Nobody told me that was the only good song ol' P.F. ever wrote. <g> Less seriously, but on the same subject, with some word changes, there were Country Joe and The Fish: "One, two, three, what are we fightin' for? Don't know but I can't take it back. Next stop Baghdad, Iraq. And it's four, five, seven Open up the Pearly Gates. Ain't no time to wonder why We're all gonna die." Oh, well, I guess we'll have peace in our time when this one is over.
