Hey Slider I am Catholic and I am disappointed too! I think what this proves is that the Pope is very Old and not in complete touch with his wits. It's to bad when this happens to someone like him in such a visible position. This is not an excuse for these comments either just a possible explanation. I wish he would keep his mouth shut and take care of the churches business first. Our President is exercising his Moral responsibility to the people of the US and the Catholic church has no authority over the Presidents constitutional moral authority.

...I want to puke....the Catholic Church is now irrelevant and has ZERO Moral Authority. What a load of crap. You are missing all of the good done in the world and the amount of lives the Catholic Church has helped. It isn't perfect by any means but it's far from having no moral authority. Certainly not irrelevant.
