But, the Israeli/Palestinian issue has little to do with our war against terrorism, except for the fact that Israel is fighting a war against terrorism also, and Israel is one of America's closest friends and allies. << Hey, Robert, did you ever consider that this Israeli policy of building ghettos in the occupied territories, if tried in the U.S., would violate our fair housing laws? >> Before this latest terrorist war against Israel, the Intifada, the lives of the people in Gaza and the West Bank was really improving. They had the highest standard of living, ever. What happened? The Palestinian leaders, who are all members of terrorist groups, wanted it all, and all Jews dead. So, the suffering of the Palestinians is the direct result of their brutal, terrorist leaders, not Israel.
