It said that the U.S. had USED a forged document in a vain effort to make its case against Iraq for harboring nuclear weapons. Next thing you know, the U.S. will plant some biological weapons in Iraq, "discover" them, and then say, "You see, we found chemical weapons." You can already see this in an early report that the U.S. destroyed some "chemical weapons capable" missiles. Now, I ask you, were the missiles equipped with chemical warheads, or were the missiles simply large enough for that? Another example of guilt by association. The sum total of this is we can't trust Bush, his administration, or all his clacks parading around these discussion boards, parroting the same old propaganda. And I mean old. We are now hearing from the press and the righteous in Congress to give all our support to make this a short campaign. Almost the identical words of encouragement were used when Hitler invaded Czechoslavakia and other eastern European countries. And after WWII, Russia then replaced the governments in the eastern European countries (new term is "regime change"), maintaining that the old governments were a dangerous threat to Russian security. So we are set back 60 years--having cast aside 60 years of excruciating efforts to prevent war. And we have also given the go ahead to terrorist groups in other Arab countries, such as Egypt, to destabilize those governments. Another example of future regime change made easier by the stupids who are running our own government into the ground for short term political gains. Art
