OK, I've finally made my picks.

In the Midwest, I had no choice but to take the overwhelming favorite, Kentucky. For upsets, I took Weber St. and Tulsa. I also have Missouri knocking off Pitt in the Sweet 16.

I have the West as wide-open. Since Champaign is just a short drive to Indianapolis, I see Illinois gaining momentum and then upsetting Arizona and an uneven Duke. For other upsets, I like Central Michigan over Creighton and then Arizona State over both Memphis and Kansas.

In the weak South, how can anyone pick against Texas with the third and fourth rounds being in San Antonio? Florida has it easy in their first two rounds in Tampa, but they've played poorly of late and I see them being knocked off by Xavier.

The stars also seem to be aligned for Syracuse in the East with the third and fourth rounds down the road in Albany. Normally I'd like Oklahoma but injuries have forced me to take Mississippi St. for the first three games.

So, for my Final Four, I have Texas over Syracuse and Kentucky over Illinois. Even though most "can't lose" picks often do, I still have to go with Kentucky as national champ.

Let the games begin!
