He claims a un-named senior diplomat, trying to get countries on board, had told countries a decision was already made. However he forgets to tell us when, what decision, or any other pertinent details. Yet we are to believe his allegations. He claim Gw had decided to go to war months ago. Was that before, or after the UN debacle. Was that before GW tried to bluff Saddam out of his weapons or after. It is these lack of details which make this article just another "I hate GW " article disguised as a serious piece of thrash.

There are documents which have been posted on this thread predating 9/11 showing that the people who really control this policy had decided long ago to attack Iraq. The president is but a front. You have to be asleep to not know that the UN sharade was little more than that. As Powell worked to get UN consensus, the hawks undermined his efforts.

In what way can you possibly call this a good read. It is nothing but a bunch of unverified allegations backed up by innuendo. Ted could have written it.

What does that tell you? Actually, probably nothing until you take off the rose tinted glasses.
